ACADEMY FACILITY
A world-class golf academy is not possible without a top level facility. Lori is the Lead Instructor at the Bear Mountain Golf Academy and John is the Academy Director. The academy is located at the stunning Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria and offers everything Lori and John need to provide a well-rounded instructional experience.
Practice Facility
The Bear Mountain Golf Academy offers large grass hitting decks and several well defined targets to accurately simulate on-course conditions. Complete with areas to practice out of the rough, off side-hill lies and other trouble shots, the facility offers everything a golfer needs to work on their long game.

Video Instruction
V1 software is a key element of the golf schools. Video instruction has advanced to an amazing level. Randle Golf uses state-of-the-art computer video systems that utilize V1 software. V1, the same software used by the game’s best teachers like Butch Harmon, gives John and Lori all the tools needed for diagnosing swing faults and, more importantly, the ability to clearly communicate them to the student.
The video system also gives John and Lori the ability to send a complete summary of the key points from a lesson to each student via the Internet. These video summaries provide a great reference so each student can stay on the correct path long after they attend a lesson.
The Golf Course
The golf course is another key element of a great golf academy and this is a huge strength of the Bear Mountain Golf Academy. Bear Mountain Resort is the only golf facility in Canada that can boast 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf. If you want to be picky, we actually have 37 holes if you count the betting hole perched overlooking Victoria and beyond.
John and Lori are very pleased to be at the Bear Mountain Golf Academy in Victoria. They are sure you will find the facilities to be everything you could hope for and make your instructional experience very rewarding.
