Victoria
is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.
It features Canada's best climate with year round golf
and leisure activities. Students who attend the golf
academy have the opportunity to live in a very safe
community. The crime rate is very low and unemployment
is very low as well. The result is a very pleasant city
to attend school and travel around.
Canada
welcomes people from all over the world. This melting
pot of cultures offers our students the chance to learn
about many different traditions in addition to those
celebrated in Canada.
When
golf isn't on the schedule, Victoria offers many outdoor
activities to keep our students busy. Several parks
provide exciting trails for hiking and viewing our spectacular
west coast wildlife. Deer, hawks, eagles, killer whales,
sea lions and many more animals make their home in our
area.
Victoria,
BC has long been a hugely popular city for tourists.
It offers an unbeatable combination of oceans and mountains
which meet to create unparalleled beauty. In addition,
the city offers a diverse array of activities which
will undoubtedly make your time here (when you're not

of the accolades Victoria has received in recent years:

Nast Traveler magazine rated Victoria the best
city in the Americas. It ranked second in the world
for ambiance, nosed out by Carmel, California.
- Condé
Nast Traveler magazine also ranked Vancouver Island
as the best island in North America, finishing ahead
of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Kiawah, South Carolina.
These names are not new to golf fans.
- In
2002, the readers of Condé Nast Traveler
magazine ranked Victoria as the fifth best city
in the world. Cities finishing ahead of Victoria included

Gardens - People literally come from all
over the world to visit Butchart
Gardens. With fifty-five acres of wonderful floral
displays open to the public and offering spectacular
views from the many paths that meander through the four
main gardens, even golfers don't mind spending a few
hours walking around without their clubs!
Royal
BC Museum - The Royal
British Columbia Museum is a place of discovery.
Through three unique galleries, the Museum showcases
the human and natural history of British Columbia, and
features periodic exhibitions of international renown.

- Aside from the amazing food served in the clubhouse
at Olympic View, Victoria has countless excellent restaurants
of every culture and price range.

Inner Harbour - At the heartbeat of Victoria
is the Inner Harbour. Offering world-class shopping,
too many dining options to count and street buskers
to entertain, non-golfers can spend all day wandering
around and be completely content. To top it off, Victoria's
Parliament Buildings overlook the harbour and is beautifully
lit at night.
