Video Instruction

John uses a state-of-the-art, computer swing analyzer that utilizes V1 software. This is the same software Butch Harmon and most of the world’s best instructors use with their students. His system takes video golf instruction to the next level.

Features and benefits of your video lesson

  • Video allows you to see your swing for clearer understanding of John’s message.
  • John can add graphics to emphasize certain points.
  • The system allows John to compare your swing to a model swing, side by side on the screen. This feature also allows for comparing your new and old swing to see your improvement.
  • The student receives a video summary of the lesson via the Internet, complete with graphics, swing comparisons and John’s audio.
  • Seeing is believing

John rarely uses video in a student’s first lesson and only offers video instruction during one hour lessons to ensure maximum use of the video images. Video Lessons come with a lesson summary via the internet so the student can refer back to the key elements of the session.

Launch Monitor

John uses a Zelocity Launch Monitor to gather all the key data from golf shots to advise his students. This data makes it possible for John to give you the most accurate recommendations possible.

Data Captured by the Launch Monitor

  • Club head speed
  • Ball speed
  • Launch angle
  • Spin rate
  • Power Transfer Ratio (solidness of hit)
  • Carry Distance
  • Total Distance

Uses for the Launch Monitor

  • Driver Fitting – find the perfect driver for you by optimizing the launch angle and spin rate of your drives to match your swing speed
  • Gap Fitting – check your yardages to make sure you have proper spacing between your yardages

Launch Monitor Session – $100

Club Fitting

To play your best, your equipment must be fitted to your body type and swing motion. Ill-fitting clubs will make compensations necessary and your level of play will be hurt. Many golfers feel they should wait “until they have a swing” before they get fitted. Unfortunately, this mind set often leads a golfer to learn a compensation-filled swing with poorly fitted clubs and then when they do get fitted, they have to either live with the quirky swing or re-learn the swing.

EVERY GOLFER, REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL, NEEDS TO HAVE PROPERLY FITTED GOLF EQUIPMENT.

Important Specifications of Your Clubs:

  • Loft
  • Lie Angle
  • Length of Shaft
  • Grip Thickness
  • Shaft Flex
  • Head Style (weight distribution and centre of gravity)
