Lori
has been playing golf for over 23 years. She grew up
playing the game in Edmonton, Alberta
and represented Alberta 4 times at the national level.
Her mom and dad were the ones who got
her started and who kept her going when things
got tough.
A
young starter in the golf business, 2008 marks Lori's
22nd year working at a golf course - the
last 8 years have been as a CPGA Teaching Professional.
Lori
truly loves to teach and this joy comes across
in her teaching style that is easily understood by golfers
of all levels.
Lori's
Teaching Philosophy
Lori
believes that with all the different body types, her
teaching style has to change with each individual.
Lori
feels that most golfers don't understand how the golf
swing works because the information they have been given
has been incorrect or too technical. Her approach to
teaching is very simple and easy to understand with
all areas of the game.
Lori's
philosophy is based on keeping the focus on the most
important thing, which is the golf club. From there
the body will do what it needs to do instead of trying
to do what your body is not capable of doing.
When
we put all of this together we will have a better understanding
of how the club works and that will make it much easier
on the body and will also make the game less work and
more enjoyable.
